Sculpture in the Park show and sale, and sale it was.
I am beyond thrilled to share with you a very special milestone in my artistic journey—selling my very first sculpture at a show.
This Parachute Goddess has found her home!
The experience of being in the show for my fourth year was very good as usual, but to actually sell for the first time was an event that I will never forget. I made my first retail sale on my 70th birthday. What a wonderful birthday present and an exciting experience. I am still riding high about it.
This moment marks more than just a transaction; it represents the unfolding of a dream, the beginning of new possibilities, and a deep validation of the creative passion that drives me every day.
I have sold commissions; but I had never had the experience of someone walking up to my sculpture and falling in love with it, to the point where they had to have it for their own. This was such a hoot. I have been on the other side of this as a buyer many times so I know the feeling. I recognized it in this buyer by the look in her eyes and her body language. I felt a connection with this buyer from the start. The power of art to create connections amazes me.
Here she is in her new home.
I just wanted to share my exhilaration and thank you all, especially the buyer, for being part of this experience. Here’s to many more creations, connections, and moments of excitement yet to come.
Since we are talking about shows, In case you find yourself in Loveland in the near future I want you to know that I will have two sculptures in another Loveland, Colorado, art show.
These are different sculptures that were not in the Sculpture in the Park show this year.
This show is the 2025 Regional Fine Art Show at the Lincoln Gallery, 429 North Lincoln Avenue, Loveland, CO. The exhibition will run from September 12 through Oct 2, 2025. The gallery hours are 12 noon to 6pm Tuesday – Saturday. Closed Sunday and Monday.

As the new owner of this magnificent art, I can say I have grown to feel more connected to her more every day. I find myself sitting and reading next to where she is proudly displayed. She is magical, and her creator a magician ! Thank you, Charlotte! 💜. I never knew I could feel this way about art!
Your response to me, but more to the art blows me away. She truly found her home. Thank you so much. Here’s to years of enjoyment!
Congratulations, Charlotte!
