This piece is truly spectacular! A little inside baseball- even the foundry was skeptical about if it could be done. This was a very challenging project to complete with all of Charlotte’s artisans at hand. I’ll say one thing, Charlotte’s work keeps us all on our toes and sharpens our skills. I’m glad you are working on a blog about this one to show the general public what it takes to complete this masterpiece. Stand a bit taller today my friend, you deserve all your flowers on this one!

Thanks Stephen. I was so captivated by her features and frustrated doing a small little piece, that I told her I wanted to do a full size sculpture of her head and shoulders. That is exactly what we’re in the process on right now.
